Nis sot Edicioni i 15-të i Tirana International Film Festival – TIFF 2017.

Festivali këtë vit do të mbahet në sallat e kinemave Imperial, kinema Agimi, Teatri i Kukullave dhe TULLA Culture Center nga data 3-11 nëntor. Motoja e këtij edicioni të 15-të është: “Picture your Life – Create the Future” (Filmo jetën tënde – Krijo të ardhmen).
TIFF është eventi më i rëndësishëm kinematografik që zhvillohet në Shqipëri jo vetëm për nga vjetërsia dhe eksperienca, por edhe për numrin e madh të aplikimeve dhe aftësinë selektive të filmave, programit të pasur dhe zbulimeve interesante.

TIFF vazhdon të mbetet një festival indipendent, që ka për qëllim të zbulojë e promovojë atë kinematografi europiane e botërore, që për fat të keq mbetet jashtë rrjetit komercial të distribucionit.

1,511 aplikime nga 113 vende të botës dhe 254 filma të përzgjedhur tregon edhe njëherë reputacionin e lartë që TIFF ka arritur ndër vite me një seleksion të kuruar imtësisht dhe një program të pasur artistik. Pothuajse të gjithë filmat që do të shfaqen në TIFF 2017 janë premiera kombëtare e disa prej tyre edhe premiera rajonale, europiane e botërore.

SPECIAL SCREENING-s do të ketë premierën rajonale të filmit dokumentar të vlerësuar në Locarno Film Festival, “A Skin So Soft” nga regjisori i mirënjohur kanadez, Denis Côté, i cili do ta prezantojë personalisht premierën në Tiranë para publikut të interesuar.

Ceremonia e Hapjes e edicionit të 15-të TIFF 2017 do të mbahet të premten, datë 3 nëntor ora 18:00 në ambientet e kinema Millennium dhe do të vazhdojë me premierën europiane të filmit “Elvis Walks Home” nga Fatmir Koçi.
