Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone call today with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, where they discussed the possibility of additional anti-Russian sanctions, as well as Ukraine’s financial support and protection.
Zelensky shared the announcement on social media where he said their discussion stressed that all perpetrators of war crimes should be identified and punished.
Zelensky’s office said in a statement that the president had held a conference call with Ukrainian officials during which Kiev had made proposals for a sixth package of European Union sanctions.
