Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky continues his efforts to raise awareness of the dire situation his country is facing.
Following them, he decided to address the Grammy Awards ceremony, where through a powerful speech he spoke about the most thrilling silence that exists, that of death.
“In our land, we are fighting Russia, which brings the most terrible silence with its bombs. The silence of the dead. Fill this silence with your music. Tell our story, the story of this war on your social networks, on television. “Support us in every way you can, but not silently.”
“Our cities being destroyed by war are legends already, but I have a dream for the living, to be free, free like you on the Grammy stage,” he added.
The coveted music awards ceremony was dominated by American artist Beyonce, who set a new record with her 28th victory. She turned into the woman who has received the most awards in Grammy history, surpassing even singer Alison Krauss. Taylor Swift also made history by becoming the first female artist to win the award for best album three times a year.
Only three other artists have won the award for best album three times: Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder. Among the other winners was the Albanian singer Dua Lipa, who was awarded for best pop album.
