Your Excellency! This parliament that today has the honor to listen to you is not known for the spirit of agreement between them, but this is one of those even more cases when all of us here have agreed on maximum support. Albania is a much smaller country than Ukraine. Our opportunities to come to your aid are quite modest but we have believed that Albania can be valuable to Ukraine with its voice. On May 8, Albania will be present at the donors’ conference for Ukraine where we will give modest support. Our recent history helps us to feel the great pain of Ukraine. This is an invaluable service you are rendering to the entire sleeping democratic world. We all know that this war may not be short. I sincerely believe that if today Ukrainians fleeing the war are coming to Albania. Tomorrow their wish to visit Albania will become a reality.
