Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed his country on Sunday, calling Ukrainians “the strongest people in the world.”
“We are coming to the end of another week. Our fight is for freedom, for the state. Another week that Ukraine is alive, despite the efforts of the Russians to destroy us. We are fighting. “We are defending ourselves,” Zelenksy said.
The Ukrainian president said Russia had “lost touch with reality to the point of accusing us of doing what Russian troops have obviously done.”
He added that for fear of losing, Russia would continue with strong attacks in eastern Ukraine.
