The leaders of Germany and Luxembourg expressed their support for the people of Ukraine this Tuesday, during a joint press conference in Berlin.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to immediately halt all combat operations, withdraw all Russian troops and return to dialogue.
“The bleeding must end. Vladimir Putin is offending the Ukrainian people. These will be very dramatic times. The pictures with many dead and injured, the destroyed buildings and the infrastructure we had to mourn are just the beginning of what is likely to come“, Said the German chancellor.
The Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel, said that standing in favor of the Ukrainian people is already a task.
“You are not forgotten. You are not alone. We must continue our diplomatic efforts“, Said Bettel.
