Albania and the United States will continue to be at the forefront of condemning Russian aggression in the UN Security Council, writes Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka.
After the meeting with the US Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Xhaçka made a post on social networks, where he emphasizes that “Albania and the US have been and will continue to be at the forefront of condemning Russian aggression in the UN Security Council and everywhere in defense of international values, principles, norms and rules, and we will continue to work to ensure ACCOUNTABLE”.
Albania, a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, represented by Ferit Hoxha, has condemned Russian aggression, while calling for increased sanctions against Russia.
