Famous Albanian writer Bardhyl Londo dies after a long battle with a serious illness.
He was hospitalized for two months at the Oncology Hospital in Tirana. Over the last 10 days because his condition had worsened, he was kept in resuscitation but could not win the battle with the disease!
Bardhyl Londo was born in 1948 in Përmet. Studied language and literature at the University of Tirana.
After graduating from the faculty he worked for several years as a teacher in Përmet and then for the literary newspaper “Drita”.
For some time he has been the president of the “League of Writers and Artists” (LSHA).
His literary creativity includes 8 volumes of poetry as well as several novels. He is the winner of the “Migjeni” award.
