A 41-year-old woman and the three dogs that were walking with her were killed yesterday by being hit by a car in the Chelsea area of central London.
The driver of the car, a 26-year-old boy was arrested on charges of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police and doctors were called to the scene following reports of a collision between a pedestrian, animals and an Audi vehicle.
Riley, 41, was found dead at the scene as the animals later died from their injuries. One of the witnesses described the scene as a “carnage”.
They commented on Facebook: “The two Labradors were dead and the third was screaming so loudly penetrating the scene of chaos that surrounded him.”
“Several cars collided and blood was spilled everywhere. I learned that the dog owner had died along with her three dogs.
“The lady and the three dogs rested in peace. very sad. “
Another passerby wrote on Twitter: “I drove there when it had just happened. “Terrible scene, three dead dogs on the road and some cars collided.”
The place where the event took place is one of the most exclusive areas of London, along the River Thames where traditionally famous names live.
