Yesterday, the mayor Voltana Ademi announced that she will not participate in the March 6 elections.
After withdrawing from running as part of the names for the Shkodra municipality, to represent Berisha and his movement in the March 6 elections, Voltana Ademi said she would continue to make her political contribution in support of Berisha.
The latter reacted for the first time after Voltana Ademi withdrew from the race, while saying that:
“I thank Voltana Ademi, who has represented the DP with dignity, has remained undefeated as an opposition to a central regime based on drugs and crime, in every act it has proven hostile to Shkodra and the whole of northern Albania.”
