Although misunderstood as abandonment and detachment from politics, Kokaari explains that he needs to step back a bit to get back to life in America.
“Since you became a mess yesterday, and Lulzim Basha with his imaginary leadership that has no party authority, expels and suspends all members of the Re-establishment Commission from the Party, I am making another statement;
It is indisputable and it is clear that this is not the right time to retire, no matter how little, although I desperately need to return to my life in America.
It is also clear that what I wrote yesterday was misunderstood as abandonment and as a complete detachment from what we started on September 9, and moreover it has been misused by the left where Basha’s group already belongs.
As such, I want to tell you that you have TOTAL available to me again, as always – without the “pulpit money” or someone else, as Luli’s bodyguards accuse.
The fight for Albanian pluralism continues, and it is a fight we will win. The fact that I am not in Tirana all the time, does not mean that I am not engaged. On the contrary, I help in other directions “, writes Kokalari.
Among other things, he explains that he continues to talk to the members of the Re-establishment Commission, so he will always be by Berisha’s side. The end of Kokalari’s status is linked to the former President of America, whom he says should return to the White House.
“I also made it clear before that I am in daily communication with all members of the Commission, and at no point did I say that I left him.
To my supporters, I’m very sorry that yesterday’s statement discouraged you. I was not aware that it could create that kind of reaction.
In the meantime, I will always be on Berisha’s side, because I believe it is the last stone that keeps the opposition from total destruction.
Anyway, I want to clarify that when the opposition has a new President, and the statute that will be the basis of the Conservative PD, I will return to my life in America, and focus on my friends’ election campaigns in New York, Ohio and Florida.
