As part of the operation codenamed “Transit”, the police handcuffed 3 citizens who tried to cross the border through Rinas, with forged documents.
The structures of the Rinas Police Commissariat, following the work for prevention and crackdown on illegality, arrest and detention of persons trying to cross the border illegally, in cooperation with specialists for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking in DVP Tirana, based on information provided on the operational road, that three citizens were trying to cross the BCP Rinas, with forged documents, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Transit”, within which they made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizens:
– BH, 49 years old, born and resident in Podujeva, Kosovo;
– LB, 21 years old, born and resident in Ferizaj, Kosovo;
– V. Gj., 36 years old, born and resident in Podujeva, Kosovo.
Investigations have shown that these citizens, after being provided with forged German and Belgian visas, attempted to cross the border into Rinas, to leave our country illegally to EU countries.
Work continues to identify other persons involved in this criminal activity.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tirana Judicial District, for further procedural actions.
