A “Glock” pistol was fired 17 times at a car at the entrance of Nikla, in which Marklen Haka, a name known to justice and considered one of the most dangerous in the area, was sitting in the passenger seat.

Around 2.30pm this Wednesday Marklen Haka appeared at the trauma hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance. The white shirts found that he was injured in the jaw part but has stable parameters for life. This is the second time Marklen Haka has escaped an assassination attempt.
Even on the evening of September 21, 2019, he escaped an assassination attempt by persons who have not yet been identified by the police.
The perpetrators fired automatic volleys in the direction of Marklen Haka’s house in the Black Field of Nikla. As a result of the shooting, he was wounded in the arm, while his aunt Shpresa Basha could not survive.
In January this year, Marklen Haka was arrested by RENEA forces during an operation in several cities of the country. He was arrested on suspicion of 3 criminal offenses, “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Illegal possession of weapons and ammunition” and “Failure to report a crime”, but his freedom would be limited to a few days. The prosecution could not substantiate these allegations and he was released by the court.
Marklen Haka had been arrested earlier for a murder that took place in June 2011 in the area of the former Bloc in Tirana, but was released due to lack of evidence. He is also suspected of some serious criminal events but has not faced justice.
