The Italian businesswoman, who rented the hotel in Radhima, Vlora, opposed the police forces when they entered the building.
She is heard crying and screaming saying that she is her home and that she has nowhere to sleep. Even after her calls, the police again took her by force and pulled her out of the building.
“I live here, I have no house, I have nothing, I only have this thing, wherever I want to sleep tonight, no, this is my house, where will I sleep? ” she said as she was taken by force by police.
The lawyer of the Italian citizen, Elona Mone said that she has a lease contract with the hotel administrator. She confirms that the lady has not been notified.
“It has a hotel with tourists and inside it has its own furniture”said Mone.
The lawyer of the case also states that the lady was notified on Friday and was not given time to file a lawsuit or prepare for the demolition.
The National Inspectorate of Territorial Defense (IKMT) has continued this Monday the demolition of buildings on the coast of Vlora, while it has stopped in the area of Radhima.
IKMT, together with numerous police forces have intervened in a three-storey hotel in Radhima. According to IKMT, the intervention was for objects which are not classified by the legalization process.
The owners of the hotel are still in the process of legalization and litigation with IKMT and have the documents of the land where the hotel was built.
Meanwhile, the hotel has been rented to an Italian citizen since December.
The Italian citizens who have invested have stated that they will follow this issue to the end, considering the intervention of IKMT unfair.
The owners and relatives are opposing the demolition, while one of them took the child and rode on the terrace, threatening to throw it if the building was demolished.
Some of the residents are heard crying as police officers intervene to evict them.
