A 22-month-old child ordered home furniture through his mother’s phone.
Madhu Kumar was being surprised every day, as ordered furniture arrived at her home in New Jersey, USA.
“The first person came with the box, and put it next to the door. Then another sender arrived, then another. Soon, brown boxes filled the front stairs. Another email arrived at her address saying other messages were coming in. “, said Kumar.
The whole situation was shrouded in mystery. Even though she had seen the items in at Walmart while browsing for the family’s new home in Monmouth Junction, Kumar knew she had not bought any of them. She also asked her husband, Pramod, who told her he had not even done it. Neither of their two older children had done so.
The mystery was solved. Ayaansh Kumar, just 22 months old, the youngest son of the family, picked up the phone, just moments after she had stored a large number of items on a well-known shopping website.
While the mother was still thinking about which parts to buy, Ayaansh ordered all four pieces of furniture leaving his mother with almost $ 2,000 less in her bank account.
The child seems to have mastered technology well, having been born into the COVID pandemic and seen his family working, learning online, shopping and playing, all from home.
