European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has visited the town of Bucha near Kiev in northern Ukraine, where civilian bodies were found lying on the streets after Russia’s withdrawal.
“It is unimaginable that it happened here. “We are seeing the cruel face of Putin’s military.”said von der Leyen during her visit to Bucha.
Von der Leyen was accompanied by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger.
