Ferizaj / Uro .evac Regional Police conducted the operation “School Safety 2022” near schools.
She has seized from the students numerous dangerous tools. According to the police, the following were found and confiscated:
Firearms (pistols), five (5).
Semi-automatic long guns two (2),
Amount of ammunition,
Knives, 40 pieces, mostly for high school students,
Metal box, 10 pieces, for high school students,
Marijuana grinding mill 6 pieces,
Metal rod, 4 pieces,
Electro shock, 1 piece.
The police adds that forty (40) persons were detained and escorted to the police on suspicion of using narcotics and cases were initiated against them in the Prosecution and the Basic Court of Ferizaj.
“Twenty (20) people were also detained and escorted to the police on suspicion of selling narcotics (marijuana) and criminal cases were initiated against them for the Basic Prosecution of Ferizaj”, explains the announcement of the Police.
Police adds that the action will continue in September with the return of students to schools in the new school year.
