Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says they have resisted the attacks and successfully repulsed Russian forces.

Zelensky said Ukraine now has “almost full support from EU members to exclude Russia from SWIFT” – the international payment system that has been at the center of a debate over sanctions against Russia for the attack.
“I hope that Germany and Hungary will have enough courage to support this decision.” he said, referring to the fact that they were the strongest voices against Moscow’s secession from the Swift system.
He again called on the Ukrainians to resist the Russian occupation. “Every Ukrainian should have one thing in mind: if you can stop and destroy the invaders, do it. “All those who can return to Ukraine must return to defend Ukraine.”
There was also a call for volunteers, to whom he said: “All friends who want to join us, please come, we will give you weapons.”
