Six babies were born this Sunday in Ukraine as a sign of hope, even though the whole country is under the noise of Russian bombing.
According to the Russian Ministry of Health, the babies were born in shelters and not in the maternity ward as usual. Two twins were born under the sound of Russian sirens, while a girl was born during an alarm for air attack in Ivano-Frankivsk. Two more boys and a girl were born in Kiev and Kherson, one baby inside a subway station and the others in maternity shelters.
“Our doctors are extremely proud! You, along with the army, security forces and rescuers, are being held extremely tight! ” said Health Minister Viktor Liashko.
