Fulfillment of obligations under the Brussels agreement remains a key point for any further talks, said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, after meeting with the European Union’s special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
Vucic announced on his Instagram account that he had an “open and honest conversation” on Thursday, June 2nd, with the EU special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
According to reports, the two officials discussed the situation in the region on the eve of the ‘GLOBSEC 2022’ forum in Bratislava, Slovakia, as well as all topics of interest in order to constructively resume dialogue with Kosovo.
“We analyzed the achievements and agreed that the fulfillment of the obligations under the Brussels Agreement remains the key message for any further dialogue. “I reiterated the full commitment of the Republic of Serbia to continue this process and the efforts to reach a compromise solution in order to establish better relations between Serbs and Albanians.” said Vuçiç.
