Vlora Traffic Police has punished 4 drivers for driving illegally and violating traffic rules.
According to an official announcement from the police, it is learned that 4 drivers have been handcuffed, 33 driving licenses have been suspended, and 1646 administrative measures have been imposed.
The announcement states that: “Vlora Traffic Police, increased measures for the prevention of road accidents, identification and punishment of drivers who violate traffic rules.
During the last week, as a result of the increase of radar and drag controls, as well as thanks to the cooperation with the citizens who have reported in 112 and in the Digital Commissariat, the ascertained violations, 4 drivers have been arrested, for the criminal offenses “Direction of vehicles in an irregular manner ”and“ Violation of traffic rules ”.
Also, 33 driving licenses have been suspended, of which: 3 are for driving under the influence of alcohol and 23 for driving above the allowed speed and 7 driving licenses for various violations of the Road Code.
1646 administrative measures were imposed during the last week, divided as follows:
-252 measures for speeding;
-72 measures for not wearing a seat belt;
-8 measures for not wearing a protective helmet;
-40 measures for the use of mobile device;
-152 measures for wrong overtaking;
-739 measures for stopping / stopping the vehicle in contradiction with the road signalization and traffic rules;
-12 measures for lack of vehicle insurance;
-339 measures for violation of other rules of the Road Code ”.
