Specialists of the Sector against Serious Crimes against Life and Property in the Local Police Directorate of Tirana, based on information received on the street, that in the garage of a building, in the street “Peti”, a citizen was carrying firearms of various types , have successfully organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Silent 2”.
As part of this operation, the citizen was caught and arrested in flagrante delicto:
– EP (B) 27 years old, resident in Tirana.
During the control exercised in the garage rented by this citizen, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, 2 snipers (one of them a product of recent years), 4 Kalashnikov firearms, 2 automatic firearms, 4 firearms, silenced pistols, 85 packs of ammunition of various calibers, different parts of weapons, optical sights for precision weapons (sniper), a considerable amount of weapon combs, three cartridges of tritium, amount of suspected explosives, 2 pairs of electric briefcases for hiding license plates and 5 wigs.
Also, during the control of the apartment rented by the citizen EP (B), a vehicle in use by this citizen, 3 mobile phones, 2 laptops and a suspected forged passport were found and seized as material evidence. .
