Kosovo Police in the early hours of the morning has begun to mobilize for the protest which will be held today in front of the Assembly and the Government of Kosovo, a protest called by the associations that emerged from the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
There is already an increased number of police officers near the premises of institutions, such as the Assembly of Kosovo and the Government of Kosovo.
The same can be seen in the main squares of Prishtina. According to the foreseen procedures, the police have announced that they will take measures and increase the operational activities before, during and after the end of the protest.
Kosovo Police says that they have made the necessary operational police preparations in order to maintain public order and tranquility as well as the progress of the protest announced for today, according to the law on public gatherings by KLA veterans.
Police called for the protest to take place quietly respecting the country’s laws and that the demands be democratically and legal.
