The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, brings together the leaders of religious faiths in Tirana at the Christmas dinner. “We have some good news to share. After a long ordeal of 30 years, the Orthodox Church and the Municipality of Tirana have finally resolved a ordeal of mortgages, property issues in Albania, to have the Church of St. Procopius, which next year will be provided with a permit from the Municipality of Tirana and as we say: “it will be bigger, more beautiful and stronger”! We have great news for the Catholic Church. Finally again in record time, the land at the tombstone, a former military unit that belonged to a time when everyone mobilized, armed for enemies who never arrived, will be returned to the Catholic Church and there we will have a church that is dedicated to Saint Mother Teresa.

It is an area of the New Boulevard, not to be confused with the “New Tirana” of the post-war period in Unit 5, and there we have an agreement for an Evangelical Church and to make sure that this new year finds us with 3 stations of faith.
