The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj has finally won the defamation lawsuit against the PD MP, Grida Duma.
The Court of Appeals rejected the allegations of the Duma, leaving in force the decision of the Special Court, according to which, Veliaj did not slander when during the campaign he reminded Grida Duma that he had sold the same apartment several times to an individual and that she convicted by the court of fraud.
This is not the only loss of Grida Duma against Erion Veliaj. In the April 25 elections, the Duma challenged Veliaj, claiming that he would defeat him in Kavaja. But, the result ended with the deep victory of the Socialists led by Veliaj in the Region of Tirana.
Earlier, MP Duma lost in Tirana, where she lost to Veliaj in Unit 1. Meanwhile, in the by-elections on March 6 in Rrogozhina, Duma recorded the next loss to Veliaj.
