A stone monument in the US that was often referred to as the “Satanic Stonehenge” was destroyed this morning with explosives, officials announced.
The explosives detonated at around 4 a.m. on the so-called Georgia Guidestones, which inscribed a 10-point message on the “conservation of humanity,” among which it was recommended that “the world’s population should be kept under 500 million people.” “.
Images and videos on social media showed the explosion of one of the four main parts of the monument and then the flattening of the entire structure by an excavator that arrived later.
Local residents had reported hearing the explosion, according to the local network WSB-TV.

In it were written messages in eight modern languages, English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Chinese and Russian, as well as in the ancient Babylonian, Greek, Sanskrit and ancient Egyptian languages.
Former Georgia Republican gubernatorial candidate Kandiss Taylor said several years ago that the monument stones are a “satanic device” and that part of her platform was to destroy them.
Earlier Taylor commented : “God is God himself. He does everything he can do and that includes destroying the monument of satanic stones.”
While the local chamber of commerce wrote on Facebook: “Whatever your personal opinion where the attack is negative for our community. We hope that whoever is responsible is brought to justice.”
