The US Embassy in Ukraine has said that the attack on the nuclear power plant constitutes a war crime.
Through a Twitter post, the embassy responded by saying that the bombing of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant takes Putin’s rule a step further.

As Russian forces continue their offensive in Ukraine’s major cities, the country’s largest nuclear power plant, Zaporizhia, was attacked this Friday morning. The fire has already been extinguished, while the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said the reactors at the power plant are safe and no radioactive material was released.
