Price also added that the US will not be able to evacuate US citizens from Ukraine at any time.
“American citizens who travel to Ukraine specifically to participate and fight there face significant risks, including the very real risk of capture or death. “The United States, as you know, is unable to provide assistance to evacuate American citizens from Ukraine, including those Americans who may decide to travel to Ukraine to take part in the ongoing war,” Price said.
The US State Department calls on US citizens to help Ukraine through humanitarian aid or other means, without getting involved in the war.
