The US Department of Commerce has decided today to block three Russian airlines from receiving US exports.
This agreement will be implemented for the main Russian exporting airline ‘Aeroflo’t’ together with the ‘Azur Air’ and ‘Utair’ airlines in order to separate the airlines from the global economy.
This comes after the sanctions that the US announced on Wednesday to two of Russia’s largest banks and his two daughters.
“As a result of the sanctions, Russian airlines over time will not be able to continue with the daily itinerary either abroad or at home,” said Matthew Axelrod, assistant secretary of trade for export enforcement.
