A very interesting track in Nickel, will make us understand the values of a little written story and a fascinating nature, that we are forgetting. Ilnisa Agolli, in the cycle “Villages of Albania” takes us even 30 minutes away from the capital, showing us one of the oldest and most important roads, that of Arbri.
Walking on whose medieval cobblestones, we will realize that we are forgetting the two main bridges of the Ottoman period, by not visiting them.
Kurcaj Bridge is the first. It used to be the only connecting link between Kruja and Tirana. From there it looks fantastic.
Although half-ruined today it continues to attract the attention of many foreign visitors who make their way on foot to the other bridge of Abdyl Aga.
Completely forgotten, these bridges and the villages of Kurcaj and Mukje, seem to call the attention of all Albanians. The beauties that stand out to the eye are stunning. But what happens there? How many families are left? How do they live? What will they say? What is the tradition of the area and the hospitality here? Watch the full video.
