The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, had a telephone conversation with the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimy.
The Kosovar Foreign Minister announced that during this conversation it was discussed about the further deepening of relations between Kosovo and the Emirates, through the implementation of the agreement on economic cooperation as well as investment projects.
“The United Arab Emirates is a future economic partner, which will discover the potential of the country and our wonderful youth, for sustainable economic development and exchanges in areas of common interest,” said Minister Haradinaj-Stublla. According to her, Kosovo intends to capitalize on this potential by participating in the most spectacular event of the century “Dubai Expo 2020”.
According to the MFA communiqué, Minister Haradinaj-Stublla and Minister Al Hashimy also talked about regional political developments.
On this occasion, the Kosovo Foreign Minister said that Kosovo and the United Arab Emirates are a factor of peace and stability in the respective regions, recently realizing relations with the State of Israel through joint engagement with the major partner, the United States of America.
