More than 2.5 million people have fled Ukraine by March 11, the United Nations migration agency said on Friday. The latest figures show an additional 200,000 refugees from the last report until March 10th.
Meanwhile, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said on Friday that at least 1.85 million people had been displaced inside Ukraine.
Most Ukrainian refugees have entered Poland.
The Polish Border Guard said on Tuesday (March 8th) that more than 1.2 million Ukrainians had entered the country – over 141,500 of them on Monday alone.
Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the invasion after receiving no assurances from NATO that it will not expand further east.
