Some Ukrainian refugees are considering returning to their homeland after initially fleeing the conflict.
For 30-year-old mother Yulia Kuzyk, who is in Poland, the pressure to build a new life in another country was too great.
“When your whole life is in Ukraine, your soul hurts.” she said, squeezing the children.
Liudmyla Burlachenko, 43, decided to return to her home in Odessa in southern Ukraine after failing to find an apartment or job in Warsaw, Poland, and Gdansk.
“It was scary and I’m scared even now, but I’m already tired and I want to go home.”she said, adding “now it seems calmer in the city.
Since the beginning of the occupation, more than 10 million people have been displaced and four million have fled the country.
