About 200 bodies have been found in the rubble of a high-rise building, said an adviser to Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko.
In a message on the Telegram messaging app, Petro Andriushenko said the bodies were found in a basement under the destroyed building.
“Due to the refusal of the locals to collect and pack the bodies of the dead, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations left the workplace.”
