One civilian was killed and several others were injured in what became known as the Ukraine Uprising in the western region of Kursk this morning.
Regional Governor Roman Starovoi has indicated that the attacks hit an ethanol factory in the village of Tyotkino and as a result several houses were affected by the attack.
Tyotkino is located 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) from the Ukraine-Russia border. Both sides of the border between Kursk and Ukraine have seen permanent artillery attacks this month.
