The Ukrainian army has taken stock of the recent losses of the Russian army, which have taken on great proportions.
On the ninth day of the fighting, Ukraine says about 9,166 Russian troops have been killed in the conflict. This figure was confirmed earlier by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Ukraine says other Russian losses include at least 251 tanks, 33 aircraft, 37 helicopters, 404 vehicles and 105 artillery systems.
These figures are much higher than those quoted by Moscow, which says it has lost 498 troops so far in the week-long conflict.
