The Ukrainian military has announced that up to this point in the war, Russia has used 60% of its pre-war high-precision weaponry.
“Military intelligence [ukrainase] is tracking the state and number of weaponry Russia is using. As for high-precision weaponry, which the Russians say, the Iskander system, Kalibr, Kh-101, Kh-555 cruise missiles – we estimate that 55-60% of the pre-war stockpiles have been used,” said a representative of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vadym Skibytsky, said during a press conference on Thursday.
“That’s why we haven’t seen them use missiles for a long time,” he added.
Russia has used repurposed anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles to target Ukrainian forces in recent weeks, according to Kiev. Ukrainian military intelligence says Western sanctions have made it harder for Russia to replenish its stockpiles of parts for its most advanced equipment.
