Ukraine’s Defense Ministry claims that Russia has suffered 23,000 losses of military personnel since the start of the war.
So far, according to them, the Ukrainian army has destroyed 986 tanks, 2418 armored vehicles, 435 artillery systems, 189 aircraft, 8 ships and 155 helicopters.
According to the BBC, estimates of Russian military losses vary widely but Moscow has previously acknowledged that it suffered significant troop losses during the war.
