Ukraine has long invested in military drones, including those from Turkey, and amid tensions with Russia, Kiev special forces introduced their Punisher fighter drones, which they describe as “virtually undetectable.”
A large number of such devices await the moment of the Russian invasion. They can fly silently for up to 48 kilometers and drop a maximum of three high-precision bombs, which would wipe out targeted vehicles and bodies.
A small drone, called the Specter, is first sent to identify the target before the Punisher, or “Punishers,” set out for extermination.
The bombs are dropped automatically the moment the drones take up position and the explosion is immediate, involving everything around in a ball of fire.
On-board cameras record everything, in order to check the accuracy of the mission.
Ukraine, prepared for an attack by its largest neighbor from time to time, is not a member of NATO, but it has been its “partner country” since 2008 – the year it applied for the Action Plan for Membership.
This means that she may be allowed to join the alliance in the future. Russia seeks assurances from Western powers that this will never happen.
