An estimated 346 children have been killed as a result of Russian bombing of Ukraine, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
It says that as of this morning, around 991 children have been injured in the country as a result of the war, which broke out at the end of February.
Of them, 346 were killed and about 645 were injured.
However, the prosecutors emphasized that “these figures are not final”. Most of the casualties were found in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, where 346 were killed or injured.
In Kharkiv, in the northeast, this number was 186, and in Kiev it was 116.
A large number of casualties were also observed in Chernihiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Zaporizhia.
