Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said a 12-hour ceasefire had been agreed with Russia today to allow civilians to be evacuated through humanitarian corridors.
The ceasefire will start from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time.
Vereshchuk has indicated that Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has accepted the routes proposed by Russia for humanitarian corridors and that he will discuss this with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
“I call on the Russian Federation: you have made an official public commitment,” she said.
According to her, the humanitarian corridors through which the Ukrainians will move are: –
- Energodar-Zaporizhia
- Sumy-Poltava
- Mariupol-Zaporizhia
- Volnovakha-Pokrovsk
- Izium-Lozova
- Vorzel, Bucha, Irpin, Borodyanka, Gostomel-Kiev
