408 students successfully completed their 3-year studies, in dozens of different profiles and programs offered by 5 faculties of the European University of Tirana.
In the premises of the Tirana Amphitheater, the recent graduates celebrated success and knowledge, in a ceremony with many surprises. July 13 was a day of great joy for the university itself, as the rector announced the successful completion of periodic institutional accreditation by a British agency.
“I am pleased to share with you tonight that UET has just successfully completed institutional accreditation in 16 years, what is known as periodic accreditation. In contrast to other public or non-public higher institutions, it carried out this process with a foreign agency, that of Quality Assurance in Great Britain”, said the rector Prof. Dr. Tony Gjuraj.
“UET will be by your side with all its support offices to enable a faster integration into the labor market. But more than that, around 15,000 UET graduates across all study cycles are our powerful support network for generations of recent graduates“, said Prof. Assoc. Dr. Selami Xhepa, President of UET.
“During these years, I had the good fortune to meet many of you, to listen closely to every claim, concern and remark. Believe me, every word of yours has served us to make things better, in terms of progress and development in this country. Always have the courage to tell your truth! You’d be surprised what a difference it would make“, said Tildi Çadri, the current administrator of UET.
Apart from the throwing of caps in the air, the graduation party also marked an emotional moment for the students, lecturers and their relatives. One of the newly graduated students proposed to his girlfriend.
