Elbasan Police has arrested today two people, who were declared wanted, within the operation codenamed ‘Promise’.
After the exchange of information, the services of DVP Durrës made possible the arrest of citizens A. Ç., 21 years old, and DH, 23 years old, both residents of Durrës, for whom the Court of the Elbasan Judicial District has imposed the security measure “Arrest in prison ”for the criminal offense of“ Assistance in illegal border crossing ”, committed in collaboration.
These citizens were declared wanted in the framework of the police operation codenamed “Promise”, conducted by DVP Elbasan in November 2020, after together with the citizen E. Ç., Who was arrested in flagrante delicto during the operation, they were transporting 12 emigrants, from Korça in the direction of Shkodra, for a profit of 100 euros per person, in order to cross the border illegally in the direction of Montenegro.
During the operation, in November 2020, both citizens A. Ç. and DH, abandoned the vehicle on the road axis Librazhd-Elbasan and were able to leave while the citizen E. Ç. was arrested in flagrante delicto.
Additional materials were forwarded to the Elbasan Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
