A 35-year-old man was executed with a firearm this morning in Peqin. The incident took place in the village of Gjocaj where Albi Bashaliu was shot near his apartment.
The perpetrators immediately after the execution burned their vehicle at the scene and then left with the victim’s vehicle.

In June of this year, Leonard Bashaliu, Albi Bashaliu’s brother, killed his neighbor Ylber Xhahysa with a firearm after an instant conflict.
But it appears the 35-year-old killed today has not been unknown to authorities. In 2017, Albi Bashaliu was arrested after firing a machine gun at two people, thankfully without being injured.
