Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Kukës Police Commissariat prosecuted at large for the criminal offenses “Organizing and participating in illegal gatherings and demonstrations” and “Obstructing the circulation of vehicles”, citizens of RM, 64 years old and MF, 37 years old, resident in Kukës, because in BCP Morinë, they have organized a protest without the permission of the competent bodies, blocking the free movement of vehicles “, according to police.
As of Saturday, residents of Kukes who want to enter Kosovo are returning due to the lack of a third dose of vaccine.
This revolted the citizens and on Monday organized a protest at the border point in Morina, as according to them it is unfair not to be allowed to cross the border without the third dose of vaccine.
Residents of Kukës also blocked the lane of vehicles entering Albania on the grounds that the citizens of Kosovo also need three doses to enter Albania.
According to the Kosovo government, all persons entering the territory of Kosovo must have three doses of vaccine or two doses of vaccine and PCR test, measures that are valid until February 4. This measure of Kosovo has also been opposed by Northern Macedonia.
