A military helicopter crashed in eastern Turkey, killing nine people and injuring four others.
The accident happened in the province of Bitlis. The wounded soldiers were hospitalized. Doctors and members of the security service are at the scene of the crash.
The cause of the helicopter crash, as announced by the Ministry of Defense, was a malfunction in the plane. The helicopter was on its way to Tatvan, the province near Bingol, when it disappeared from radar.
