According to the calendar, industrial production in Turkey increased by 8.5 percent in October on an annual basis, the country’s statistical agency announced today.
All sub-indices supported the index this month, especially the mining and industrial production sector, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
Mining, quarrying and production indices rose 9.2 percent year on year in October.
The electricity, gas and air conditioning supply index also increased by 3.5 percent per month.
TurkStat data showed that the country’s industrial production also increased by 0.8 percent on a monthly basis.
