Revenge is suspected to be behind Sunday’s massacre in Fushë Krujë, where Brilant Martinaj, Besmir Hoxha and Dikler Vata lost their lives.
In the hands of the police are only the vehicle of the perpetrators, which was burned in Larushka, and the vehicle of the victims, which are being closely examined by experts. At the scene, the police found dozens of cartridges fired from 3 different weapons, which were found inside the burned vehicle.
The security cameras in the area are expected to clarify some unknown to the police. The investigation group has doubts that in addition to the car of the assassins, another vehicle was also used in the murder, which tracked the victims from Rinas to the Fushë Kruja overpass. They are suspected to have synchronized the movements with the assassins to commit the crime on the overpass, where the victims had no chance to react.
After the event until the early hours of the morning, dozens of people, mostly residents of the area and with a criminal record, were escorted to the police as persons who may know about the event or the perpetrators. The state police offered a reward of 30 million old lek against complete anonymity for anyone who provides valuable information about the perpetrators.
All three victims, in addition to the blood relationship between them, also had criminal charges, the most serious of which was 23-year-old Brilant Martinaj. He was a suspect for the murder of FNSH policeman Xjulio Prela and former policeman Xelal Reçi.
The 23-year-old has close family ties with Ervis Martinaj, who after the golden bullet operation was declared wanted. According to the testimony of Nuredin Duman, he paid to eliminate Endrit Doklen, who was saved from life imprisonment by a court decision.
From analyzing the evidence and the mechanism of the event, the police suspect that the killers of the 3 young men are the same as those who killed Erigers Mihas and Armando Duman last November in Astir and the murder of Can Karric in Bathore a month later, who they were also known as a close relation of Ervis Martini.
Meanwhile, today around 2.00 am in the village of Ahmetaq, a parked “Volkswagen” vehicle caught fire and was completely burnt.
No one is interested in the vehicle, and the license plates and chassis number are not registered in Albania. The police are verifying whether this car was used in the killing of three young men at the Fushë-Kruja overpass.
