Tottenham will reject the opportunity to sign former Juventus striker Paulo Dybala due to his massive salary demands.
The Argentine, who is leaving Juventus this summer after seven years at the club, had put teams like Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United on alert, hinting that he was interested in a move to the Premier League.
But despite his availability on a free transfer, Spurs executives have disputed the cost of a possible deal – with the 28-year-old asking for around 0 280,000 a week.
Dybala scored 82 goals in 210 league games for Juventus, but the Italian team refused to extend his stay in Turin when he demanded a net salary of 8 million euros and a bonus of 2 million euros – the equivalent of around 373,000 pounds a week.
Inter have made an offer to Dybala, which is believed to be milionë 6m a year, including bonuses – around 0 260,000 a week before taxes – but he is expecting more.
As an alternative, Inter are interested in bringing back Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on loan after he left the San Siro on a 97 97.5million transfer last summer. / Express
