Sadik Kuniqi is the first serial killer identified along with his execution plan. He had a diary in which the names of the 33 people he was going to execute were found. Kuniqi worked as a Captain in the Shkodra branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the border post. After a few moves he finally resigned in 1992 and started working as a bricklayer.
In 2000 he divorced his wife and the reason for this was his mental disorders. In January 2002, the massacre of Kuniq in Shkodra started. Related to his second profession, the bricklayer, Kuniqi committed his 4 murders with a trowel.
In 2003 Kuniqi was sentenced by a court to life imprisonment. alone in the cell, the serial killer began to suffer from hallucinations and aggravated schizophrenia. He died in 2005 in a prison hospital after a problem with appendicitis.
